To all doctoral students:

As co-chair of the upcoming Library 2.013 worldwide virtual conference, I
would invite you to participate and present your doctoral research at the
upcoming conference: the Library 2.013 Worldwide Virtual Conference
<http://www.library20.com/2013> , which will be held October 18th-19th.  For
more information about presentation guidelines and submittal instructions,
please visit the conference website at:
http://www.library20.com/page/proposal-submission-2013  The deadline for
submitting abstracts is September 30th.

New this year is a dedicated Doctoral Student Research strand where doctoral
students will have the opportunity to share your library and information
science research at whatever stage you are at ‹ from literature review, to
methodology development, to preliminary findings, to theoretical framework,
etc.  Doctoral students will gain valuable experience of presenting their
research in an online environment.  You will be able to get feedback from
global professionals and scholars, expand your CVs, and get a recorded link
to your presentation and discussion for review and use.

This is the third year of this conference.  The previous two conferences
reached a broad international audience -- attracting more than 10,000 people
from 160 countries.  The Library 2.013 Worldwide Virtual Conference will be
held online via web conferencing, with presentations held in multiple
languages and scheduled around the clock over the course of two days. You
can log in anytime from the comfort of your home, office, or favorite coffee
shop. Plus, it's a free conference so everyone has the opportunity to
participate and engage in these global conversations.

The Library 2.013 Worldwide Virtual Conference is co-founded by the San Jose
State University School of Library and Information Science (SJSU SLIS). For
