Hi,
If youre interested in a User Experience role purely working on
applications from web, mobile, tablet to the most future thinking apps then
look no further.
Im currently recruiting for a very exciting UX role to work for a globally
recognised newspaper and publisher, a brand you would be proud to say you
worked for.
You would be working in the new digital part of the .com team, in a team of
17 people, split between half commercial and half technical abilities. You
would be the only UX consultant and therefore be responsible for championing
the User Experience. Client is very bought into UX, placing it at the
forefront of all their projects.
This role incorporates strategy, research and UX design. Expected to carry
out quantitative research more gorilla type user testing, the use of
analytics all to help you inform your designs. My clients target audience is
quite sophisticated, demanding and an international audience, so its vital
you can use dynamic and innovative research techniques to make sure you use
the best methods for the target audience.
You will frequently be taking the business, user requirements and coming up
with the best solutions and designs. Using both the strategy, research and
analytics to inform your designs (wireframes, sitemaps, user journeys etc),
and ultimately create the best User Experience across a whole variety of
applications.
My client has some really exciting projects coming up from an HTML 5
application to a new android tablet app.
This is a fantastic opportunity to own and champion the UX, taking it and
making it your own. Not looking to hold your hand, want a self starter who
can solve their UX problems with innovative ideas.
Worth stating that this may be a lone UX role in a team who is fully bought
into UX, however there are other UX teams throughout the company who you
will get the opportunity to work with and gain advice from when needed.
If your passionate about designing the UX for applications but have limited
experience in this, yet have an understanding about the complex challenges
required. For example the limitations of designing for a mobile app to
designing an application in HTML 5 then that is not a show stopper.
Obviously if you have app experience then that is fantastic.
Location; Central London (Very nice offices in a superb central location)
Salary; £45,000
