CONTENT STRATEGIST 

Content Strategist is dedicated to helping our clients communicate with consumers via digital means such as websites, social media, mobile applications, branded integrations and more. The Content Strategist identifies the most appropriate communication channels, oversees all content requirements, and creates all content strategy deliverables (content audits, gap analyses, taxonomies, metadata frameworks, style guides, content migration plans, etc.) across the project lifecycle. Collaborating closely with the Interaction Designers, this person is critical to defining the content needs of web sites and applications our teams create, and to working closely with the client to ensure the necessary content is sourced or otherwise generated. 



Responsibilities: 



Content Model 

    • Develop metadata model and or tagging schema to describe the content 
    • Develop controlled vocabularies which will provide values for the metadata elements 
    • Define business rules to govern relationships between content items from a cross-sell and up-sell (in conjunction with client) 
    • Assist in the develop of content entry templates to reflect the requisite tags and/or metadata elements required to power the CMS (if needed) 



Content Strategy 

    • Identification and documentation of content types and inventory of existing content 
    • Identify content for deletion, migration (as is), updating or that needs to be developed 
    • Developing the overall schema for organizing and developing content (e.g. hierarchy, lifecycle, etc) 
    • Develop an editorial style guide to provide guidance on content development in conjunction with copywriting team 


Content Governance 

    • Assist in the development of a content governance model including processes and dependencies including: key roles (e.g. author, editor, approver, reviewer etc.) and responsibilities per role 
    • Identify key processes, procedures and dependencies 


Requirements: 

· 3-5 years professional experience within an ad agency, journalism or publishing house, social media agency, or production environment. Skill sets should include: · Thorough understanding of how to communicate effectively in a digital environment · Demonstrated ability to lead content strategy across the entire web and SEO best practices 

    • Experience with taxonomy design, meta data framework development etc. 
· Advanced knowledge and experience with content management systems (CMS) and functions and content migrations, including digital asset management and databases 

    • Business process and reengineering skills: ability to define new business process / re-engineer existing processes 
· Online portfolio with sample of your work, including planning and strategy documents, content analysis documents, content strategy briefs, gap analyses, taxonomies, client-centered content templates, content audits, tone and voice style guides, etc. · Bachelors Degree in related field, such as English, journalism, technical writing, or library science 

· 3-5 years experience with the following: 

o Developing content strategy based on client business objectives and user needs 

o Determining projects' overall content requirements and potential content sources 

o Conceiving and developing original content: writing blog posts, articles and display copy o Developing innovative solutions for content presentation, including content management, workflow, and maintenance 

o Editing material generated by internal and external contributors 

o Evaluating and managing content syndication opportunities o Creating taxonomies and metadata frameworks for grouping and tagging content; ensuring content conforms to Search Engine Optimization best practices o Developing naming conventions, instructional copy, and other interface textual elements 

o Set ting guidelines for the editorial tone and procedures for all written elements of the site; managing overall style and voice of all content as well as brand standards o Overseeing content migrations and preparing documentation to do so o Developing content indexes and mapping documentation for the new site.

INTERACTION DESIGNER 

Interaction Designers are responsible for the navigation, organization, interaction design, and business/user process engineering for leading-edge Web solutions, software, and mobile devices/applications. This person will apply user-centered design methods to translate user needs, business objectives, and technology capabilities into world-class user experiences for leading companies. The ideal candidate has 3-5+ years’ experience in experience planning and conducting research, generating audience insights, and designing customer experiences for the digital realm. 

Responsibilities : 

Interaction Design: 

· Information architecture 

· Conceptual design, functional design and modeling audiences, processes & tasks. 

· Documentation, such as site maps, wireframes, flow charts or use cases, functional & presentation specifications, clickable prototypes , and style guides 



Collaboration: 

· Partner with technology on design feasibility 

· Collaborate with design team on visual design integrity 

· Work with Clients to identify business REQ & Goals 

Research and Analysis 

· Plan and direct appropriate research

Collaborating with a cross-functional team of talented Art Directors, Copywriters and Technology experts, you will use your interactive design, customer experience/insights and research experience to help create rich, online experiences for our clients.

The Lead Interaction Designer at Digitas takes a dynamic part in creation of interactive experience design and advertising experiences from a conceptual standpoint, working as partner on a creative team alongside Copywriters, Art Directors and Designers. This person works closely with a Creative Director and peers of different disciplines within the agency to produce beautiful, wild and smart creative work that bonds consumers to brands and gives them a voice in the brand experience. The optimal candidate will be well versed in the underlying ideas behind Web 2.0, while being grounded in the fundamentals of usability. This person will also have balanced Interaction Design skills (IA and UI), visual design sensibilities and an understanding of how all disciplines must exist together to create experience design solutions. 

Partnering with creative teams, marketing strategists and account planners, the Lead Interaction Designer will develop customer research and insights that drive the ideas within the work. Think social engagement, distributed application and content development and using marketing as a service rather than a bland sales tactic. 



Additional Responsibilities: 

    • Willing to understand a client's business, brand and marketing objectives, proactively contributing to its evolution and success 
    • Team with writers and art directors to develop next-generation interactive experiences 
    • Maintain high standards for design artifacts, including wireframes, architecture diagrams and prototypes 
    • Understands and can develop or extend personas and scenarios for a given user population based on either primary or secondary research 
    • Takes lead with the technology teams to identify required platforms and systems to bring the experience to life, and documents the requirements for the technology teams in a standardized set of documents (presentation, technical, functional or temporal)
