Seeking a senior level MOBILE INTERACTION DESIGNER with great 
conceptualizing/innovation and hands-on UX abilities for prestigious, 
global, and longstanding European-owned design consultancy’s newly 
opened NYC office. Fabulous opportunity to get in on the ground floor 
of a 12-person company, quickly establishing itself on American soil, 
with an enviable client list that ranges from F1000 to small, hip 
start ups. 

Help grow an organization from the ground up, be a key contributor in 
helping to set up the culture and personality of their American 
presence, utilize your entrepreneurial spirit and wear multiple hats, 
and work on a variety of usable, visually appealing, and cutting edge 
cross-platform media in the mobile, web, interactive TV, kiosk/ 
touchscreen, embedded UI, and overall innovation.

We are looking for a self-motivated, mobile-savvy SENIOR INTERACTION 
DESIGNER who is passionate about interactive media and wants to work 
in multidisciplinary teams, be a key contributor on the front-end of 
projects in their conceptual/creative phase (ie, inventing something; 
setting up the path of the entire project), and deliver excellent 
quality solutions to leading companies in the following sectors: 
Media, Telecom and Internet Information Providers. The work we deliver 
ranges from mobile services to Web, iPad, Interactive TV, and digital 
interfaces embedded in physical environments. 

We expect the successful candidate to have solid years of experience 
delivering interface design solutions for various clients. Ideally the 
candidate has worked in a collaborative team environment before, and 
has experience with interacting with multinational clients. 

The successful candidate must have experience in mobile UI design---ie 
you MUST have mobile projects in your portfolio to show---as it is 
important that you also have an understanding of how to deliver 
excellent quality solutions on smaller portable screens. 

Requirements 

• 5+ years of experience doing cross-platform digital interaction 
design for leading iconic brands 
• Professional experience with the following software: 
o Adobe CS3/4 
o Omnigraffle 
• Professional experience with the following platforms: 
o Droid 
o Blackberry/RIM 
o iPhone 
o Mobile Web 
o Desktop Web (HTML + Flash) 
o Symbian, Nokia, etc. 

Key responsibilities 

• Define the overall service structure, including flow charts and 
interaction model. 
• Create wireframes to best illustrate and document a service in 
detail. 
• Support the creation of, or create, functional or UI specifications 
for services or applications. 
• Be creative! Concept! Innovate! 
• Cooperate with visual designers to solve problems and create full 
design solutions on projects.

Knowledge, skills and attributes 

• 3+ years experience; must have proven experience designing for 
mobile screens OR related web-based apps that show you could easily 
make the transition to a small mobile screen (MUST be in portfolio) 
• Relevant degree or professional qualification(s) 
• Proficient in relevant software packages 
• Excellent attention to detail 
• Able to demonstrate initiative
