Information Management Specialist - Boston or Northern VA - $90-100K+

actively seeking an Information Management Specialist who will
contribute to the definition and implementation of metadata strategies
to enable information lifecycle management, search/findability, access
control and security within an extensive intranet and enterprise
architecture. 

 

The IM Specialist will improve information retrieval, continuity, and
security through the application of metadata and information management
methods and processes. This will involve defining metadata strategies
and analyzing enterprise information management systems to determine
metadata requirements. Qualified candidates will have a Bachelor's
Degree and at least 2 years of experience working in a corporate
intranet environment with active content. A Master's Degree in
Information Management or a related field is preferred. Candidates
should have working knowledge of information architecture principles,
industry metadata models, and information, document, and records
management. Excellent communication skills and experience with project
