This is a full time, on-site, salaried position located in Madison, WI
paying $50,000 to $60,000 + benefits.  US Citizens or Green Card holders

The Company: 

My client is an award winning interactive design and development studio
based in beautiful downtown Madison, WI. Their studio specializes in
developing rich media websites utilizing the latest flash and web standards
technologies. From Flash based product configuration applications to full
scale web-based learning management systems--If it's interactive, they do
it. They pride themselves in their interactive focus and the creative and
technical expertise they bring to their clients. 

They are looking for a Senior/Mid-Level Interactive Developer to join their
web application development team. It's a fun and exciting opportunity where
you will be constantly challenged to push the limits of web technology. The
ideal candidate will have at least 3-5+ years of development experience with
a focus in PHP and Flash development. 

You'll need to be a creative thinker, detail-oriented, confident, and able
to express ideas and concepts to other team members in an articulate, well
thought-out manner. 

Most importantly they want you to be passionate about what you do, and have
fun while doing it. 

Essential Duties: 

Designing, creating, and maintaining the back-end of our web applications
and interactive solutions. 

Specifically developing database schema, designing and developing web
applications, developing complementary front-end interfaces (JavaScript,
Ajax, Flash), and supporting the rest of the team with development related
needs. 

Qualifications: 

-Passion for web development. 
-Bright, enthusiastic, and hard working. 
-Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey
concepts to technical and non-technical coworkers/clients. 
-Experience developing highly interactive Flash websites, strong knowledge
of ActionScript. 
-Development background in object oriented programming, PHP Preferred. ASP
C# .NET will be handy. 
-Experience with and working knowledge of HTML, CSS, DOM, JavaScript and
Ajax. 
-Experience designing and implementing complex web applications. 
-Experience designing complex database schema. 
-Ability to manage multiple projects with deadlines. 
-Basic proficiency with Unix/Linux. 

Preferred Skills: 

-Computer science background/degree. 
-Experience with version control, ideally Subversion. 
-Server management skills - Linux, Apache, MySQL, PHP. 
-Knowledge of Mod Rewrite. 
-Familiarity with development best practices.
