Please forgive me for this plug (actually I'm pluggnig two things at
once so the pain is lessened), but I wanted to let you know about some
workshops I'm teaching that may be of benefit to you or someone you know.

IA: Theory & practice
-----------------------

This is my popular, full day workshop that is a very thorough
introduction to IA. I've been teaching this for a while, and it really
does always get rave reviews.

I'm teaching it at IA Summit - right now the class is quite small, so
we'll have a great opportunity to talk and explore your questions:
http://iasummit.org/2009/program/pre-con/information-architecture-theory-and-practice/

And for the Southern hemisphere folks, I'm teaching this in Wellington
at the end of March:

Advanced IA: Principles & practice
------------------------------------

This is my brand new Advanced IA workshop and Wellington gets this first
(also at the end of March):
http://optimalusability.com/advanced-ia-principles-and-practices.php

This includes principles like cognitive categorisation (which is much
funner than it sounds), how we make choices, information seeking
behaviours and how to design for the knowledge gap. And it covers
practices like documentation/communication, testing IA and project
questions.

Of course, I can teach either of these in-house or at other conferences too.

Thanks - plug over. Hope to see lots of you in Memphis or Wellington!
