Online Designer, AirTran Airways (Atlanta, GA)

Responsible for overall online design and customer experience and for
general day-to-day site maintenance. Responsible for interface and
graphic design for new projects, and for ensuring design consistency
throughout the website and email campaigns. 
 
Responsibilities

* Design graphics as needed for AirTran websites and emails. 
* Design page layouts and create wire-frames as needed. 
* Interaction design for transactional elements. 
* Support and maintain existing websites. 
* Collaborate with online team and other internal groups to design new
websites. 
* Ensure online efforts meet high usability standards and support the
AirTran brand. 
* Work with internal groups and vendors in planning and implementing
projects. 
* Manage work priorities and communicate status with other groups and
Crew Members. 
* Assist with online strategy and planning for various customer groups. 
	
Qualifications	

* Extensive experience with design software, especially Illustrator. 
* Must have strong CSS and Flash skills 
* Must have experience with online interaction design. 
* Experience working with customer-focused e-commerce websites. 
* Detail-oriented. 
* Able to meet short deadlines. 
* Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to represent
online marketing interests within the company and with vendors. 
* Bachelors degree required. 
* Online portfolio required.
