I don't have an answer for your question, but FWIW, I subscribe to a 
number of artist's and designer's (none high-profile) blogs (26 and 
growing). I'm uninterested in what the artist has to say unless they say 
something about a posted image that does interest me.

I quickly end a new subscription if images aren't included in the posts, 
so I suspect the wisdom of your (potential?) client's position.
