I would also want to add that in the 4+ years that IxDA's discussion
list has been active that I have only had to pull this guideline out
of my moderation hat less than a handful of times. Most people fall
within the guidelines quite easily.
Dan Saffer deserves props though for adding this to the guidelines of
the discussion list when we created a guidelines doc a few years ago.
If we are on the guidelines thread, can we PLEASE do something about
people who turn on their "out of office" responder on an address that
is subscribed to the list. In this day and age this is almost
ridiculous to bear. Send out one message and get 10 back at once.
