Ok - maybe we can talk about how technology - and possibly even new technology - can be used to help users.
 
I'm looking for examples of sites that help the user keep track of things on a site, like (but not limited to) recently viewed items. Gifts.com has this feature and they used to have the list persistent on the right side of the screen so it was always available. I now see they've hidden the list in a link in the support nav in the top right of the page.
 
The Windows live.com Image search allows users to roll over an image and add to a "scratch pad" on the right of the page. The image can also be dragged to the scratchpad.
 
So - has anyone got any other good examples of this?
