I have the opposite question: When I post job listings, I almost always
leave out all of those useless (IMHO) requirements having to do with
degrees, job titles, domain expertise, and often even the number of
years of experience. I am generally betting that it should be sufficient
to simply say "I want a senior IA who has experience working with
clients" (which I do).
Am I wrong in my assumption? Are IA job candidates turned off by
short-and-sweet job descriptions? Do long elaborate descriptions make
the job seem more attractive? If so, why?
