If you're looking for data to support your claim, you can try this set of
statistics. It's nationwide data.
Screen Resolution for January 2007
Unknown - 6%
640x480 - 0%
800x600 - 14%
1024x768 - 54%
Higher - 26%
However, though you can use it to support your position, realize that some
people, particularly at higher resolutions, do not operate in full screen
mode.
