My client in Jersey City seeks a detail-oriented Interaction Designer to
join the User Experience Group. This is a client side opportunity with
regular hours and  reasonable project expectations.  The team is a
highly-collaborative group of multidisciplinary design professionals. They
are looking to design the best client experience in the financial industry.

Responsibilities:
.	Perform qualitative user research; establish design personas and
scenarios.
.	Collaborate with strategy, marketing and the business to develop
interface behavior and brand consistency across all products and services.
.	Represent the needs of the user throughout discovery, design, and
development; balance business needs and technical feasibility.
.	Create and maintain documentation (vision statements, personas,
scenarios, wireframes, task flows, etc.), for business, marketing and
technology teams.
.	Work closely with the User Interface designer, Editor, and
Information Architect to evolve design specifications into useful and
usable, goal-centered, brand consistent products.
.	Participate in usability studies to evolve the Ameritrade interface
to meet accessibility and usability standards.

Qualifications:
.	3-5+ years designing Web-based transactional products (i.e.,
e-commerce, banking, etc.) and large-scale consumer websites
.	Ability to work within an established, goal-oriented design process
.	Expert-level knowledge of interaction design, user interface design,
and information architecture.
.	The ability to promote design principles and methods without
compromising project throughput
.	Proven presentation, communication and organization skills; ability
to work well with multi-disciplinary teams.
.	Expert knowledge of interface design standards and best practices 
.	Knowledge of the financial industry is a plus.
