It is worthy to add here that the developer now works at Google, the
company that is the complete antithesis of Microsoft in everyway.
>From what I've read, teams at Google are no more than 3-4 people,
their meetings are few and extremely short and the developers have
complete freedom to work. Google refuses to believe that what is out
there ("best practices") is what the user needs and continues to
innovate to come up with its own solutions.
The stock price of these two companies since Google's IPO two years
ago reflects where each approach is taking them.
