[Sigia-l] Thanks to what?

On the eve of our Thanksgiving Day here, a couple of people from two
different continents caught me off-guard this evening when they asked
off-list pretty much the same question: what in the design world that
happened in 2006 would I be thankful for? I still haven't been able to come
up with one.
