You didn't miss much. 

I couldn't discern much in the talk about mobile usability, but he did
reveal that on Yahoo! Images, far more searches (about 30% more) are
performed by *mobile* devices than web devices.

Why, he didn't know.

Oh, and he did that thing where you ask the audience to stand up and
take their mobiles out of their pockets, and contrast that to the number
who can take their iPods out. A demonstration of why portable music is
doomed. Or something. I suppose everyone who does a talk about mobiles
has to do that now - it always gets a buzz though.
