This has been a great thread--I really appreciate this discussion and
think it has a lot of merits--both the speculation about the role that
IA could play in a C-suite office holder's background & success *and*
the questions about whether this is a profession or an expertise
(perhaps both? I use my philosophy background extensively in my work,
but there are also Philosophers who make their living applying the
expertise of philosophy as a profession).
