Apparently you are buying into the hype that Steve Jobs "Designed" the iPod.


The iPod team almost certainly had a few "industrial designers" who didn't
have a whole lot of input into what the battery icons on the screen looked
like, and at least one "graphic designer" who understood their role to be
limited to what appeared on the screen and maybe (although I'd doubt it) the
labels on the hardware buttons.

I doubt the iPod team had anyone on it called a "Designer". Besides, of
course, Steve Jobs.
