I too am frustrated with trying to find a job in the Information
Architecture field. I graduated with a Masters in Informatics and
have been working as a Project Manager for a web design firm for about
1.5 years now. I am now looking to move towards an IA position but am
having a very difficult time finding one that is not a Sr level as
Kathleen describes.
I never thought to look to BA positions in order to eventually move
towards an IA position, is that how many IA's got their start? Does
the same go for a Product Analyst/Manager position as well?
