Never used fireworks (mostly because I own a licence for Photoshop et  
al, albeit 7.0) but I regulary use ImageReady droplets to do this.  
Lickety split - quick and dirty.

In general, I find P-Shop getting too bloated, and the cost is really  
starting to rub me the wrong way. The interface though...like an old  
leather jacket, I keep coming back to it.
