JOB DESCRIPTION:

RESPONSIBILITIES of an Information Architect
*	Create initial Information Architecture deliverables, and 
develop refinements or subsequent iterations of Information 
Architecture deliverables
*	Define target audience
*	Translate client's business needs and requirements into 
information architecture deliverables which reflect the client's 
goals and business objectives
*	Participate in presentations of information architecture 
deliverables, internally and to client
*	Work with usability engineers to develop usability test 
plans, oversee tests, gather and assess results
*	Work with technical architects and engineers to ensure front-
 and back-end compatibility
*	Work with brand and marketing team to ensure that strategies 
are represented in content and in other Information Architecture 
deliverables
*	Work with content writers to develop the site voice and 
personality. (The Information Architect will apply developed site 
voice and personality to all navigation, error messages, forms, and 
help text, etc.)
*	Work with Creative Lead and Visual Designers to ensure that 
visual design accurately supports the information design
