them. By the time you get it built, they'll want something new.

*   Sometimes when you innovate, you make mistakes. It is best to admit them
quickly, and get on with improving your other innovations.

The most remarkable aspect of these quotes for our own community is that
they have been uttered not by an unappreciated lone designer in some giant
company, not by a wide-eyed open source advocate, not by some new-age
business guru, but, consistently and over a stretch of many years, by the
CEO of a $45 billion company that has been outperforming pretty much the
entire tech industry over the past few years: Apple.
