[Sigia-l] Search log analysis reporting - Excel help?

Hi all -

So I've done some search log cluster analysis and am banging my head against Excel trying to get it to graph my data the way I want it to.  I've asked two "Excel gurus" here at my company for help, and they're saying my data is too complex.  I'm finding that hard to believe, so I thought I'd ask a bunch of IAs who have probably done this before.

Basically what I want to create is a stacked chart by topic, showing overall frequency as well as sub-cluster frequency. So if I have in my data set 100 queries about Outlook, 150 about webmail and 50 about Exchange, I want to be able to show visually that all three of these stacked up add up to 300 total queries on the topic "email" - and I want to show all the topic stacks on the same graph (i.e. columns for email, benefits, products, etc - all the topic clusters in my data set).

I've got the data in a spreadsheet with the individual queries and their frequency, clustered by topic, with sum calculations.

I truly do not want to draw this graph in Visio, nor am I particularly excited about creating each individual column, exporting them as jpegs and cobbling them together as an image.  Anyone with any ace Excel skills - or good alternatives?

Thanks a million,
- Billie
