There area number of apps (like Endeca, Autonomy, Inxight, etc) that
'automate' this process. If in fact you think you may end up using one of
these (and that's quite likely) then it behooves you to get them involved
early in the process, as opposed to doing a lot of manual stuff that you
won't have much use for later.
