This is a Story from a very remote part of the world --
There was a priest in a poor village. In his whole life time he
couldn't build any church for the villagers, but he regularly prayed
and believed strongly in his spirituality. He had his wife and a son
in his family. He also had a goat, and a cot. Goat was to provide milk
for Priest's young lad. When ever priest used to pray, he used to tie
his goat with one leg of the cot, so that goat doesn't disappear.
This was the picture which the Priest's son grew up with. One sad
morning, priest died and villagers came to request the Son, now a
grown up man, to take over the charge of the priest. Priest Son was
hesitant, but got obliged later with few conditions -- he requested
villagers to get him a cot, and a goat as pre-requisite for prayers.
So, whenever new priest used to start prayer, he used to bring the
cot, and the goat and used to tie her with one leg of the cot. He made
this an important ritual for conducting prayers. This story, like
others have happy ending. Villagers were so happy seeing the new
priest following the foot steps of his father.
This has the striking resemblance of the topic under discussion. Even
in not so remote part of the world, people still think that they need
visio and/or standards to do design...
