[Sigia-l] Use of whitespace (was Length of nav labels)

I also suspect that the 'whitespaces as vital breathing space' is a taught /
learnt thing. People handling screen design but not necessarily having the
training for it are likely to squish in too much because of the 'I have so
much more content to put in this section'/ so little screen-space tensions.
I saw this at work again last week with a non-profit organization's web
site: the pages were packed with information, as the folks handling the job
were uncertain about what to leave in / out:  admittedly a hard job for
experienced IAs too at times.
