True.
But algorithmic search (a form of navigation) can be made more
abstract/generic. For example:
1. Find all pages in English, and for each page
2. Create a concordance table,
3. Find all occurrences of the word "door" and derivates,
4. If more than 5, flag the page and include in result-set,
5. Highlight all sentences with more than 2 occurrences of "door"
This could be a custom-made search algo for the construction industry, but
it could also apply to any language, any industry, any keyword, any
frequency, etc. In fact, the algo can divine/extract the rules itself by
simply parsing a sufficient number of pages for an arbitrarily selected
domain, and thereby determine what the domain is to begin with, as well as
other parameters, etc.
The beauty of Google is that the page itself doesn't have to contain any
metadata whatsoever, other than its content.
