Kamen is a very capable guy, as his history shows. I'm not entirely sure if
he himself hyped it as such. That doesn't of course mean he didn't let
others do the talking for him. I'm not sure. I think they would have been
better off limiting it completely to vertical markets for the first 5 years,
before they targeted the consumer market at all. I'd say they had very poor
management of expectations.
