imagine a world where you say 'You do realise that there will be an 
extra charge for this, the money has to come from somewhere, and it will 
have to come out of your project budget?' and they say 'no problem!'. 
Then imagine having the same conversation with three other project 
managers on different projects in the one week at the one site. Their 
bosses didn't want me to say no, my boss didn't want me to say no, so we 
worked ridiculously long hours for a while. Every now and then (3-4 
times a year at least) this happens. The clients get their work done, 
and the company gets more and more business. Works out well for nearly 
everybody. :)
