[Apologies for cross-postings]
I'm looking for examples of web-based tools that help people find the right
product. I'd like to see the range of what's out there, anything from entry
of a few parameters to AI. I'm especially interested in any that gracefully
handle lots of parameters or that deal with more than just product
specifications.
Here are some I've looked at:
- http://www.mbusa.com/brand/index.jsp [click Model Selector in the left
navigation bar]
- http://www.epicurious.com/recipes/browse
- http://www.epicurious.com/recipes/find/advanced/ [not product selectors,
but they have an interesting approach for narrowing down the possible choices]
- http://www.kelkoo.co.uk/ [try a product category you're familiar with to
see how it works]
- http://www.kbhomes.com/ [has dropdown menus for specifying
characteristics of homes]
Thanks!
