Depends on how you define "best possible copy" - if you define it as well
written, internally consistent, void of grammatical errors, avoiding jargon,
consistent voice, and so on; then it is possible to write something which is
"best possible copy" which happens to be short, and also "best possible
copy" which happens to be long. The long copy there would trump the short
copy.
