I think, it is too early to draw any conclusions for that 
matter but it is never too late to raise questions.  
Libraries are gradually becoming part of a thriving 
technoculture in addition to their interest in adopting 
assistive technologies, and one could make a case 
for "mirroring"--one resason begin the need for a broader 
range of assistive technology for physically and visually 
impaired users.
