There is an antique version of MS Project that did run on the Mac. I 
recall having a set of floppy disks for it, but have no idea where 
these might be.

It ran reasonably respectably and did a decent job.

These days, for less money & hassle I'd use Fasttrack Schedule pro for 
a local app; in general, when I've mucked about with it I've been most 
happy with it, although I think pricing has gone up dramatically since 
I last seriously considered buying it.
