[Sigia-l] choosing wiki software ... Help! (+ Gmail editorial)

I have a couple of comments:

In my haste, I just installed MediaWiki. Its the wiki used by
WikiTopia. It was pretty easy to install and it is running. Yea! Now I
have to figure out what to do w/ it. But for that I have others who
will help me. I mean what's a wiki w/o content, eh?

That being said, I want to thank everyone for their suggestions. I
think I'm going to try and install kwiki and UseMod in other areas
just for fun. and comparison. I'll let everyone know how this all
turns out.

Lastly, I'm using Gmail and every time I open one of these e-mails in
this conversation, I get an advert for a PHP+MySQL wiki.

I'm not saying if this is a good or a bad thing, but I do have to say
that it is REALLY effective! A bit freaky, but I'm not the private
type so I'm not too concerned yet.
