[Sigia-l] new techie librarian listserv

After searching for months and months for a place library and
information professionals could discuss Semantic web, metadata,
controlled vocabularies and the like (besides here), I finally found a
few folks on nextgenlib who were interested in starting a new listserv,
which we've aptly named Techie Librarian.

It's for metadata Library and Information Science professionals who have
some technical knowledge, but may not want to slog through information
architecture infrastructure discussions to get help on authority control
of CV's, data management, and where the jobs are for metadata
professionals.
