If I remember correctly, the workflow issue was to simply add a subscription
item if the user chose the option. This is tantamount to checking the
retuned value of a checkbox or button, if affirmative, then appending a
(what I assume to be) fix value item (subscription price) to the shopping
cart and upping the total by that amount. Coding this cannot possibly take
more than a minute or two, even if you have 13 fingers to type with. It's
beyond trivial, so all the objections must be for some other reason, me
thinks.
