Hi Everyone,
I've been lurking on the list for a few years, and have found it to be an
invaluable resource. I'm currently working as an IA/usaibility specialist
for a major financial firm.

I'm looking for some ideas about how to display tabular data when there is
limited horizontal screen space on a web application. I have run across
this problem on a few projects, but have not seen a solution that satisfies
me. One solution is to build a floating i-frame in the middle of the page
that houses the table, allowing for horizontal scrolling in the middle of
the page so the table's columns can be scrolled across horizontally.
However, this seems to me an inelegant solution, both developmentally, and
design-wise.

I'm hoping there might be some good way to make horizontal space on a web
page that I haven't seen. Does anyone know of any resources/examples of
good data table display on websites that they could point me to?

Thanks in advance,

...Anne
