The reasons why a multimillionaire would do such a thing:
1) Favor to someone
2) Interest in subject
3) Ego boost
Compensation, in any form, should *not* make any difference here. If a mug
or a t-shirt is swaying them, I'd seriously rethink about the worth of their
contribution.
