Some people cling so desperately to fixed-ideas about things they cannot
see with their own eyes or think with their own brains. For instance:
>| Rejoice, the subject matter [of wikis] has finally

which propagates an image of the http://nytimes.com/ as some kind of
authority or 'passage' thru which successful things must travel. (The
idea being that if it appears in the NY Times, it MUST be 'fit to
print').
Indeed, this lack-of-intelligence and band-wagoning which just adopts
whatever some external authority says without *actual* application of
knowledge or *observation* is at the core of ill-conceived conceptions
regarding things.
In short, things quickly become non-derivative and engaged in *fantasy
and delusion* when 'assumption' is the primary methodology.
This is all I wish to point out -- a skill for Information Architects to
be successful and obtain achievement.
There is no easy way and you can't trust that someone else (or something
else) is going to take care of things for you in a motherly-fashion.
Labor will be required. *You* will have to work to achieve.
