1. Test, test again and test every Tuesday afternoon
1.7.c. In high altitudes, test Wednesday mornings at 9:17.
2. Put navigation bar on the left.
3. Children's sites should be done in Comic Sans at 18 points
3.14.7.d. On Tuesdays this should revert to 13.45 points.
4. The "Home" button should have picture of a house.
4.2.3.8. If the site is for an urban setting, use instead a
visual of a high-rise building.
5. The "Search" button should always read "Search".
6. No popup windows.
6.6.6. Unless you need to pop'em, on Tuesdays.
7. While designing, always wear a white coat.
7.1. Some of you (and you know who you are) may have to wear gray
coats.
8. Remember %coreattrs includes the TITLE attribute:
<!ENTITY % coreattrs
"id ID #IMPLIED
class CDATA #IMPLIED
style %StyleSheet; #IMPLIED
title %Text; #IMPLIED"

9. Never set the bkg color on a home page to yellow.
9.34.7.8. If you're from the Midwest, set it to PMS 186 CVC.
10. Before you start to design, repeat: "I know nothing. I've learned
nothing. I have no experience. I have no intuition. I have no wisdom.
Without testing, I'm nothing."
I'm, of course, not 100% committed to any of these (first) principles, right
now I'm just testing.
