The reference, to me, is not excluded in the context of the discussion
(i.e. you brought it up). 

On your blog, you list *respected* colleagues. This suggests
'unrespected' colleagues as well, and, in any case, is subversive to
unity. I make it a habit to fight against cabals and presuppositions for
this very reason -- because they oppose freedom and liberty. A personal
suggestion would be to drop the qualification and begin to respect *all*
your colleagues, or at least hide the malicious intent.
