For those of you paying attention to the changing field of academic Library
Science....

Of course there are a number of outstanding programs out there that have
taken the initiative to move with the times and acknowledge that the
"traditional' study of library science is changing (and yes I know that many
of these programs enroll a considerable amount of individuals who actively
work in physical libraries/archives but the term library science is
so...so...mechanical age!).  Information Architecture has a lot of
successful champions from this discipline so you would think that academia
would get a clue as to how to market themselves with the times.  Just my
humble opinion of course.
