Intuit (makers of Quicken, QuickBooks, & TurboTax) in Mountain View, CA
currently has a need for Sr Web Designer.  We are looking for a very senior
designer (at Creative Art director level) who has been involved in
complex-enterprise websites.  This will be a permanent position with
excellent benefits & bonuses, stock options, and a competitive salary based
on experience.

Summary:
Work with Intuit's User Experience Group in Mountain View on a wide range of
internal and external Web sites:
· Participate in the discovery and documentation of business objectives,
customer goals and user interface requirements during the development of
existing and new Web projects.
· Collaborate with human factors specialists and content managers to develop
predictable and self-evident user interfaces, navigation, and  information
design across Intuit websites and subsites.
· Advise content providers on functionality, look-and-feel and effectiveness
of their Web sites.
· Evangelize and demonstrate a user-centered design process to all Intuit
business and functional units.
· Deliverables on projects may include a Design Brief, Design Strategy,
Design Approach and Schedule, Site Map, Conceptual Design, Wire Frames,
Visual Treatments, Design Specs, Design Maintenance Guide, etc.

Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Fine Arts, Web Design or equivalent
(Masters is a plus)
* 8+ years total experience with creative design
* 4+ years web design experience with complex-enterprise websites
* Experience as a Creative Art Director is a plus
* Must have exceptional ability to work in a highly collaborative
environment with Human Factors engineers, Visual Designers, Information
Architects, etc
* Must provide online portfolio of web designs with detail explanation of
involvement
* Must be able to work in a highly collaborative user design team with other
Senior Designers, Human Factors specialist, and Content Managers
* Must be able to manage multiple projects with varying deadlines.
