[Sigia-l] Design of online announcement screens (request for references)

Could anyone recommend books or other information about the design of
online announcements. That is my wording for the general idea; the
actual application that I'm working with is screen saver screens used at
my work for announcements and unit information. The screens are full
screen and based on simple graphic files.
