Hi Stephanie,

The best way to get high placement is to have good
content, use appropriate metadata and offer a good
user experience. If the site becomes an authority
(that other sites link to), then placement will
eventually rise.

I'm not familiar with all of the search optimization
services, but I know that any site that violates our
content policy is considered spam and will be removed
from the index.  If a service, for example, offers to
boost your score by creating bogus pages, doorways or
false metadata, then I would look somewhere else.
