Hi all -
In initial discussions about next year's conference several of us had
strong feelings that we should support and encourage more interactive
models of conference programming than the typical
4-speakers-with-powerpoint model. To facilitate this, I've drafted a
list of types of conference and unconference session types to assist SIG
leaders and others who are generating technical "panel" submissions for
the ASIS&T 2010 annual meeting. It is on the ASIS&T wiki at
http://www.asis.org/wiki/chapters-sigs/index.php/Suggested_formats_for_Annual_Meeting_SIG/Technical_Sessions.
Please take a look and add commentary at will. Once we have some
agreement on the page I will send it to the SIG leaders' list.
Many thanks,
KT Vaughan
