[Sig-l] SIG Award

Hi Heather,

I am the chair of the STI SIG.  I have a question regarding our best paper award.  Our guidelines stipulate the deadline is August 30th.  I read the SIG Officer's Manual and could find nothing regarding award deadlines.  Is this date our deadline or is it a SIG mandate?  Please confirm.  All the best,
