Submit nominations here:

The purpose of the award is to recognize the service of an individual to
the program of a particular SIG. It is given for significant contributions
to the membership of the SIG through participation in and support of its
events at the annual and mid-year meetings, its publications, and its other
activities.

Any ASIS&T member who is currently a member of the nominating SIG is
eligible to receive the award. More than one awardee may be chosen in a
given year. The same person may not receive the award in two consecutive
years.

Nominations can be made by any ASIS&T member, but are to be associated with
the nominee's activities in a particular SIG. The members of the SIG
Cabinet Steering Committee (in their roles as liaisons to individual SIGs)
shall also be responsible for soliciting nominations from the SIG Cabinet
Representatives. SIG Cabinet Steering Committee members may also submit
nominations. Nominations may not be carried over to the following year.

Each nomination for the SIG Member-of-the-Year Award shall include:
(a) A nominating letter, briefly describing the contributions of the
nominee to a specific SIG;
(b) A list of the nominee's contributions to current SIG activities, e.g.,

   - SIG offices held,

   - Role in developing SIG publications,
   - Recruitment activities of the nominee,
   - Role in SIG special projects,
   - Role in providing other services to SIG members, and
   - Role in other SIG activities during the year;

***ASIST HQ can help you with the historical information for this:
