Length: 1.5 hours
"The Classroom Will Now Be Podcast" will explore the growing usage of podcasting in higher education and examine how academic libraries fit into the educasting environment. The session focuses attention on examples of podcasts as classroom and library instruction tools and examines how academic libraries can become more integrally involved in podcasting efforts on their campuses.
David Free, public services librarian at the Decatur Campus Library of Georgia Perimeter College, will lead the Webcast. David produces the GPC Libraries podcasts and is the podcast editor of The Chattahoochee Review literary quarterly. He has also served as a podcasting consultant for several libraries and academic organizations.
